To God be the glory, Rev. Wesley Woods and The Hebrews Gospel Singers originated in Houston, Texas under the industry recording label of G.C. Productions. This “Soul Stirring” Gospel Quartet Group was founded in 1994. This dynamic group recorded their first album “Call Your Name” in 1996. From then on, God has really blessed the ministry of Rev. Wesley Woods and the Hebrews Gospel Singers for over 12 years of giving to the Lord. To God we give all the praise and glory through our music.
The group features head vocalist is Rev. Wesley Woods, he’s been singing God praises for 30 plus years. Along with that he is an anointed man of God presently he is the Pastor of New Word Ministries in Houston, Texas. Also the angelic sounds of background vocalist Ola Waters who is a faithful member of Christ Way MBC in Houston, Texas. Bro. Joseph Taylor, with his awesome vocals, is also a member of Christ Way MBC in Houston, Texas. Alberta Williams, who is 2nd lead and background vocalist, she truly loves praising the Lord and is a member of Greater New Elijah MBC in Missouri City, Texas. Lois Bethel as a dynamic background vocalist she also attends Greater New Elijah MBC in Missouri City, Texas. Last but not least, Rev. Roy Harrison he is a “soul-stirring” background vocalist and a dedicated Minister at St. Rest MBC in Houston, Texas.

Bro. Deon Spencer White is the awesome keyboard player and he attends and plays at Christ Way MBC in Houston, Texas. Bro. Joseph Morris, Jr. is the organist in the group and is a faithful member at New Word Ministries in Houston, Texas. Bro. Christian Kelley is the blessed drummer in the group. He is also a member at New Word Ministries in Houston, Texas.
The group has received many awards for the past six cd’s that has been released. They have been nominated twice for the Stellar Award for their hit CD “Sinner Man” (Traditional Quartet Group 2003-2004) and another hit CD “Live In Houston” (Group/Duo 2006-2007). They have produced many other great CD’s to name a few are “Tired of Running Away from the Lord” and “We Made It At Last”.
Rev. Wesley Woods and the Hebrews Gospel Singers have been featured on the front cover of Gospel USA magazine and their music is being played all over the country. Radio stations such as (WEOM 103.1 FM, North Carolina; KWWJ 1360 AM, Skipper Lee & “Tish” Jackson, Baytown, Texas).
This dynamic group have been blessed to sing on the Gospel Explosion in Houston, Texas with more talent, to name a few Lee Williams and Spiritual QC’s, Rev (Slim) Hunt and the Supreme Angels, and Keith “Wonder Boy” Johnson.
Rev. Wesley Woods and the Hebrews Gospel Singers were not able to promote within the last year due the serious illness of Rev. Wesley Woods. Rev. Woods was stricken with a series of strokes and a serious heart condition. With the help and strength from the Lord, Rev. Woods has recovered from his illness!

Try Jesus” a newly recording from Rev. Wesley Woods and the Hebrews Gospel Singers just released April 7, 2008. The group will soon tour May 2008 in many states, to name a few: Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, New York, Louisiana and Mississippi). Also look for them to sign their newest CD in May 2008 at a local record store in Houston. They are on the move for the Lord knowing that all their help and blessings come from the Lord and God.
